Priced at $22,000
Rosie is a six year old (Oct. 2010) Connemara / Thoroughbred mare that stands 15.2 hands. She is the first offspring of the Connemara stallion Blue Ridge Monroe.
Rosie has an ‘in your pocket’ personality and is suitable for a junior or an adult amateur.
She has three steady and smooth gaits with a comfortable jump. She is a forward thinking, no drama horse, and an uncomplicated ride. Whether you’re looking to compete or just have a ton of fun, this is the horse for you.
Rosie started the 2016 show season as a relatively green horse with a relatively green thirteen year old junior rider competing at the Novice level in Eventing. Together they made the move up to Training in Sept. Although this is not exactly a recipe for success, Rosie is no ordinary horse. With a good work ethic and a wonderful brain, Rosie not only had a successful season Eventing; they also fox hunted in Aiken where they were invited to join the first flight. To top off the season, Rosie completed her first Endurance Ride of 12 miles finishing in 3rd place out of 40 competitors with a senior citizen in the irons.
This is a very special little horse, but don’t let he size fool you; she can handle all sizes of riders. Be sure to check out the video pf her competing in all three phases.
