Eric is known for his enthusiasm for teaching and training horses and riders. As an ICP Level 3 instructor and Advanced Level competitor he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to share.
This is a schooling show & test clinic aka ‘fix a test’. Riders do not have to participate in the clinic & the assisted warm-up. Riders who want to participate in the assisted warm-up and the Judge's Clinic will be coached by Kyle Smith. Then when each rider performs the test, it will be scored for the competition. For those who choose the Judge's Clinic, additional time will be allotted for the judge, Jackie Smith to critique the ride and assist rider with problem spots.
Lucinda Green is one of the best event riders in the world. Known as an excellent instructor, you will emerge from this clinic with improved skills and renewed confidence. Riders and horses will be grouped together by level. The first day will be using stadium jumps to practice cross-country questions, such as: corners, angled fences, skinnys, unusual distances and line, etc. The second day will be devoted to cross-country schooling, using existing cross- country fences and taking stadium jumps out to create interesting and challenging combinations.
The eventing camp will provide intensive instruction in dressage, cross country and show jumping with USEA Level III certified instructors as well as lectures and demos. Camp will be in a relaxed atmosphere that’s away from life’s daily interruptions.
This clinic is for Eventers of all levels who want to improve their 'eventing' knowledge and skills. Participants will get the feeling of a competition in a relaxed environment with instruction from Kyle & Jackie Smith. Both instructors are ICP Certified & have competed thru the CCI** level. In addition Jackie is an USEF licensed dressage judge, eventing judge & technical delegate while Kyle is a licensed technical delegate. |
